The University of Ibadan Students' Union (UISU) has announced the release of Miss Fumilayo, a 300-level Law student of the institution who was abducted alongside several other individuals.

The statement, jointly signed by the SUG President, Temidayo S. Adeboye, and the General Secretary, Joshua O. Shontan, said the student's release was confirmed by the relevant authorities and representatives of the organisation concerned.

"The University of Ibadan Students' Union is pleased to inform the University community that our student, Miss Fumilayo, a 300-Level student of the Faculty of Law, who was abducted alongside other individuals, has been safely released," the statement read.
