China has released Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri, a prominent leader of the underground Zion Church, months after his detention during one of the country's biggest crackdowns on unregistered Christian churches in decades. The pastor reunited with his family in Los Angeles after U.S. President Donald Trump publicly revealed that he had personally raised Jin's detention with Chinese President Xi Jinping during their meeting in Beijing.
