Suits star Rick Hoffman has revealed the secrets behind his jaw-dropping weight loss. Hoffman, 56, unveiled his shocking physical transformation last month with a photo showing his slimmed down-physique - prompting one Instagram follower to ask for the secret behind his weight loss.'Intense intermittent fasting and keto diet. No alcohol,' Hoffman replied. Intermittent fasting involves a person limiting their caloric intake to either certain hours of the day or days of the week, to lose weight and control eating habits. A keto diet involves almost entirely avoiding ingesting carbohydrates in order to trigger a state of ketosis, which is when the body burns stored fat for energy, which in turn helps people lose weight. Hoffman's results left fans absolutely stunned. The transformation was debuted to fans last month, when Hoffman unveiled his slimmed-down figure with a selfie he took before a mirror.From his hair (which was shorter on TV) to his trimmer waist, the photo showed a brand new Hoffman who looked worlds away from the character fans know and love. Standing in a trailer, his hair was thicker at the front and sides and he looked smart wearing a white shirt tucked in to grey trousers. Hoffman typically had a shaved hair as lawyer Louis Litt for nine seasons of Suits, in which he starred alongside Meghan Markle. The actor wrote in the photo: 'Been a min', along with the hashtag in the caption: 'circling back.'His former Suits costar Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen, wrote a love heart and fire emoji in the comments. He revealed during an appearance on JT Foxx's show: 'At the age of 23, I had the biggest challenge I ever had. I got struck with major anxiety where I would be woken up and I felt like I was jumping out of my skin 24/7 in this nightmare.'I was diagnosed with OCD, but this was back in 1993 when nobody really knew what the hell that was, and when you see things from a different perspective like that, where you feel like your world is impending doom around the corner every day, you see the world incredibly differently than other people.'Had I not had that happen, I never would have made it with any career. It was a real quick slingshot through life lesson to really know where you stand on this planet, which is just with everyone else.Rick spoke about his time on the show to Entertainment Focus in 2016, saying: 'Every season there is some unbelievable conflict that he has to overcome. 'Every year it's like ‘how the hell am I going to do this as an actor? How the hell am I going to accomplish what they want me to accomplish?
