Formula One is considering restoring one or both cancelled Middle East races, with Bahrain emerging as the most likely candidate.

The Bahrain Grand Prix could potentially return to the calendar in early October, slotted between races in Azerbaijan and Singapore.

The Saudi Arabian and Bahrain Grands Prix were both cancelled earlier this season due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix organisers confirmed the season-ending race will remain fixed on 3-6 December, with no changes planned.
