European leaders, foreign ministers, and defense officials from around the world have reacted to Russia's massive overnight attack on Ukraine carried out between July 5 and July 6.

Among those responding was European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
"Last night, the Russian regime once again blindly attacked civilians from the air, with over 400 drones and missiles attacking the capital," von der Leyen wrote on X.
She stressed Ukraine's urgent need for additional air defense systems. "We will discuss it this week in Ankara at the NATO Summit ," she said.
