Saudi ministers launch Mawhiba Summer program for more than 12,000 gifted students in 19 cities
RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef, along with other officials, launched the Mawhiba Summer program in Riyadh.
Organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, otherwise known as Mawhiba, the program will be held in 19 cities across the Kingdom and abroad in partnership with leading academic and research institutions, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Mawhiba Summer offers a range of enrichment programs, including the Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program, Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program, Mawhiba Universal Enrichment Program, Mawhiba Ambassadors Program, Game Development Program, and other technology-focused initiatives.
The programs are delivered through four specialized tracks: human health; leadership in energy and industry; environmental sustainability and basic needs; and future economies, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s national research, development, and innovation priorities.
