DUBAI: An Israeli border police officer has been caught on camera throwing a stun grennade in to a car carrying Palestinians and then holding the door shut while the device exploded inside.
The sickening footage captured the exact moment the attack took place in the Qalandiya refugee camp in East Jerusalem, website Haaretz reported.
Now the officer faces disciplinary action after the officer acted “not in accordance with procedure” and that the Justice Ministry’s department for the investigation of police officers was handling the case.
The report claims the officer can be heard telling the people inside to “Shut your mouth, who are you talking to like that?”
It is at this point that the officer is seen throwing the grenade into the car, before a passenger is seen fleeing from one of the other doors, the driver trapped inside.
