Four children were injured in Kyiv as a result of Russian shelling on the night of July 6; three of them were hospitalized.

This was reported by the Kyiv Department of Health, according to Ukrinform.

As noted by Tetiana Mostepan, head of the Kyiv Department of Health, all healthcare facilities, emergency medical services, and medical workers in the capital are providing the necessary assistance to the victims to the fullest extent possible.

“Among the victims are four children. Three of them have been hospitalized, and one child received outpatient medical care. A 7-year-old girl and her 8-year-old brother are in moderate condition with suspected smoke inhalation. Another 12-year-old boy has been hospitalized in moderate condition with blast trauma and a closed head injury. All victims are receiving the necessary medical care. Medical personnel continue to work around the clock," the statement reads.

In total, according to the Department, as of 8 a.m. on July 6, 46 people in Kyiv were injured as a result of Russian shelling; among those hospitalized are 11 men, 13 women, and three children. Three patients are in critical condition, and another 24 are in moderate condition. Medical assistance was provided to 19 people on an outpatient basis or directly at the scene.
