Harry Styles' sister Gemma has posted an emotional message to Instagram after delivering a heartfelt tribute to her brother as he wrapped up a historic 12 night run of gigs at Wembley09:45, 06 Jul 2026Harry Styles' sister Gemma has shared an emotional message about her "unbelievable" brother after he completed a record-breaking 12 run of concerts at Wembley Stadium.‌Gemma Styles, 35, had already given a tribute to Harry, 32, live on stage at his final concert (4 July), but took to Instagram to say more, saying it was "impossible to express" what she wanted to "in a short speech".‌She posted pictures of herself and Harry from the concert, as he became the first artist to perform 12 shows at Wembley in a single tour, and added underneath: "Impossible to express in a short speech what it’s like to watch @harrystyles complete his record breaking 12 night run in such spectacular fashion… not least because my legs were like jelly and I had to keep pausing to breathe.‌"But as @mollyjane_x [Molly Hawkins, the tour director] said before I went on - we don’t often get the chance to be brave for the people we love. Imagine doing 12 unbelievable shows and then watching your big sister experience a full existential crisis at speaking for one minute. Honoured to be asked… and truly just glad I didn’t pass out. Love you H!"At the concert, Gemma made a surprise appearance on stage. She admitted that it was "not somewhere I've ever wanted to be" but that it was "not a normal evening".‌"My little brother is about to finish a record-breaking 12-night run," she said, as Harry stood next to her. "And I’m gonna keep this pretty short because I don’t know how you do this quite frankly.“I don’t think of you as this at all in day-to-day life. I think of you as a brother and an uncle and a best friend. And seeing the incredible community that has formed around you is just indescribable, really.”Content cannot be displayed without consent‌She added a thank you to the audience and "everyone who has been there" over the Wembley run and Harry's 16 year career, which began on The X Factor in 2010. “I’m so proud of you,” she continued. “And not just because of this. I’m proud of who you are, and who you allow other people to be, and the impact you’ve made on so many, not least on the ones who get to love you… what a life-long privilege that is. Thank you for being you."The speech from Gemma came just after Harry paid his own tribute to his former One Direction bandmates, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne. The five boys all auditioned as solo acts for X Factor in 2010 and were put into a band together, going on the become a global sensation.Harry said: "I wouldn't be on this stage if it wasn't for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey. I want to thank Niall, Louis, Zayn and my dear friend Liam for these nights and everything that I learned in this time, the friendship, everything... None of this would be possible, I wouldn't be here without you, thank you so much."Article continues belowHarry was particularly emotional as he mentioned Liam, who died in 2024, aged 31. The star's death followed a fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
