Mrs South Africa has unveiled its Top 30 finalists for the 2026 competition following a glittering Semi-Final Showcase at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, on Friday.
The announcement marked the culmination of a week-long semi-final programme hosted at Hotel Sky Sandton, where contestants participated in empowerment workshops, swimwear judging, closed-door interviews and rehearsals before taking to the stage for the showcase.
Judges assessed contestants across the programme’s core pillars, including leadership, purpose, community impact, personal growth, communication skills and their potential to serve as ambassadors for the Mrs South Africa brand.
Organisers said the swimwear segment was designed to celebrate confidence, self-belief and the contestants’ commitment to their health and wellbeing, while encouraging women to embrace their individuality and step outside their comfort zones.
Under the leadership of CEO Joani Jacobs, Mrs South Africa – powered by iME – has evolved from a traditional pageant for married women into what it describes as a female empowerment, skills development and professional mentorship programme, earning the nickname the “MBA of life” among participants.
