Uber (UBER) has paused most of its planned food delivery expansion in Europe, no longer planning to launch in five of the seven countries it targeted for its expansion this year, Kieran Smith of The Financial Times reports, citing two people familiar with the matter. This comes five months after the company announced its European food delivery expansion as part of its push to deliver an additional $1B in gross bookings over the next three years.
