Kyiv marked Ukrainian Navy Day by unfurling the largest flag of the Ukrainian Navy and staging tactical maneuvers by boats of the River Flotilla.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Navy shared a video of the events on its Facebook page.
"The largest flag of the Ukrainian Navy was unfurled in Kyiv, and boats of the River Flotilla carried out tactical maneuvers," the post said.
Ukrainian Navy Day is observed annually on the first Sunday of July. Under a decree signed by the President of Ukraine, the holiday was established to honor the significant contribution of Ukrainian naval personnel.
