The Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saimon Holidays, a Dhaka-based tour agency and a concern of Saimon Group.Haily Algewatte, deputy chief executive officer and chief operating officer of the bank, and Muhammad Wazirul Alam, executive director of Saimon Group, signed the MoU at the bank’s head office in Dhaka, according to a press release.Under the MoU, the bank’s Visa debit and credit cardholders will be entitled to enjoy discounts of up to 10 percent on holiday packages offered by Sri Lankan Holidays and Druk Air Holidays.Other senior officials from both organisations were also present at the signing ceremony.
