Frustrated after committing her 44th unforced error of the match, she slammed her racket onto the grass. The racket bounced off the court and into the small seating area beside Court 11.It was not clear whether the racket hit anyone in the crowd. Wobker walked over to collect it before tournament officials reviewed the incident. After a lengthy discussion, the chair umpire announced that Wobker had been defaulted for unsportsmanlike conduct, ending her tournament. There is no prize money in the junior events, so Wobker was not fined. The incident joins a list of well-known disqualifications in tennis involving players losing control on court. In 1995, former British player Tim Henman became the first player in the Open Era to be disqualified from a tournament after accidentally hitting a ballgirl at Wimbledon.During a men's doubles match, Henman missed a volley and hit a ball towards the back of the court. The ball struck a ballgirl, leaving her in tears. Henman and his doubles partner, Jeremy Bates, were disqualified despite arguing that the incident was accidental.Another famous case came at the 2020 US Open, when Novak Djokovic was defaulted after hitting a female line judge in the throat. After losing his serve against Pablo Carreño Busta in the first set, Djokovic hit a ball towards the back wall, but it struck the line judge instead. He immediately apologised as the official lay on the court in pain. After a brief discussion between the chair umpire, tournament referee and chief Grand Slam supervisor, Djokovic was disqualified from the tournament.
