KANO — The Kano State Government has pledged to complete all abandoned projects across the state while continuing the execution of new development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and public services.

The Commissioner for Public Procurement, Projects Monitoring and Evaluation, Comrade Nura Ma’aji Sumaila, made the commitment on Sunday during a press briefing on projects being executed under the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

According to him, the state government has undertaken more than 1,508 development projects valued at over ₦928 billion across the 44 local government areas of the state.

He said 799 of the projects have been completed, while 709 are at various stages of completion.
