Assam Cabinet approves amendment to Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2013
Assam's cabinet has greenlit several key initiatives, including modernizing mineral governance with new charges for sand and stone, and launching a unified 112 emergency response system. Land has been leased to AMUL for a milk chilling center, and several amendment bills, covering tourism, businesses, MSMEs, and land revenue, are set for assembly introduction. Foreign travel restrictions for officials have also been partially lifted.
