John AlechenuABUJA-Former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has declared support for President Bola Tinubu, while urging Nigerians to rally behind the administration in the face of current national challenges.
Speaking through his Special Assistant on Media, Barr. Stephen Abia, on Sunday, Emmanuel said the country’s economic situation calls for unity rather than division.
“When nations face existential crisis, leaders are bound to rally around the incumbent leadership, in a bid to rescue and restore normalcy. Our case in Nigeria shouldn’t be different as we confront our current challenges,” he said.
“Mr. President deserves all our support. The country’s macroeconomic ecosystem has some cheery news,” he added.
Emmanuel, a former player in Nigeria’s banking and financial sector, said there were clear improvements in key economic indicators following the reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration.
