As per web options exercised by candidates in the Telangana EAPCET 2026 counselling that began on June 19, and completion of certificate verification, 79,313 seats were allotted of the total 88,053 seats for the 2026 admissions.The present mock allotment is only probable in nature, and the final allotment would change after candidates modify their options, allowed from July 5 to 7.According to the official disclosure, a total of 89,785 candidates attended the certificate verification process. In all, candidates have exercised over 55 lakh options. The total number of seats available in 175 participating institutions in the State is 88,053.As per the mock allotment, an average 90% of the seats are filled up with 8,740 candidates not gaining any allotment. Under the Economically Weaker Sections quota, 6,261 candidates secured allotment. Seats under sports and NCC quota will be filled in the later stage of the counselling after priorities are received from all departments.Of all the courses, the computer science and engineering course saw the most 28,009 seats taken and just 1,520 left. Within the computer science and IT-related courses, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering (88 seats), CSE (Networks), and Robotics with a little over 40 seats saw 100% allotment.Biomedical engineering, electronics and telematics, electronics engineering, electronics and computer engineering, and electronics and instrumentation, aeronautical engineering and a few mechanical and chemical engineering courses saw 100% allotment.According to officials, the three-day period for candidates to modify any options will be crucial. If the candidate does not change the options, their choice made in the mock allotment will be treated as the final one.
