Former Union Minister and PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss on Sunday (July 5) asked all political parties to focus on the Mekedatu dam issue.Speaking to reporters in Salem, Dr. Anbumani said the Mekedatu dam was an important issue in Tamil Nadu, all party meetings should be convened and party leaders should meet the Prime Minister and Jal Shakti Minister.He alleged that Karnataka never respected anything, be it a court order, a tribunal order or law. “In Tamil Nadu, however, we are speaking about horse trading. The Mekedatu dam issue is of foremost importance, and all political parties should focus on it,” Mr. Anbumani added.On Tamil Nadu Governor’s review meeting with officials, Dr. Anbumani said a government elected by the people should function independently.
