Dipika Kakar recently underwent another scheduled infusion as part of her ongoing treatment, and her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, shared a reassuring health update with fans through his latest vlog.Giving an update from the hospital, Shoaib revealed that Dipika’s iron levels were slightly low, due to which she was also administered iron through an IV. “A couple of things came up. Her iron levels were a little low the last time, so they’re giving her iron through an IV as well. After that, I think we’ll head home in another one-and-a-half to two hours,” he said. The actor shared that unlike the previous session, when Dipika had to remain admitted overnight, this time the treatment was completed as a day-care procedure. “Last time, we had to get admitted for an entire night. But this time, we’ve managed to get it done as a day-care procedure so that we can reach home to Ruhaan tonight,” he explained.Shoaib also spoke about their son, Ruhaan, saying he has become increasingly attached to Dipika over the past few weeks. “He’s been getting a little cranky lately. As he’s growing up, he’s becoming more attached to Dipika, especially over the past month because I wasn’t home, Papa wasn’t home, and Dev bhaiya wasn’t there either. It was just Dipika, Dipika, Dipika,” he shared.Dipika, meanwhile, assured fans that she was doing well despite feeling slightly drowsy because of the pre-medication given before the infusion. “Everything’s good. I just feel a little dizzy because they gave me a medicine beforehand as pre-medication, which causes drowsiness. That’s all. Otherwise, everything is absolutely fine,” she said.PollDo you believe that day-care procedures are a better option than overnight hospital stays?DefinitelySomewhatNot really3k+ users shared opinion today 5k+ users already voted today Share OpinionThe actress also revealed that these hospital visits have now become a regular part of her treatment. “This has now become a routine every 20–21 days,” she added.Towards the end of the vlog, Shoaib happily shared that Dipika’s infusion had been completed successfully and that they would soon leave for home. “The best part is that we don’t have to stay here overnight.
