According to Iranian state media, Acting Defence Minister Majid Ibn al-Reza said Tehran remained wary of Washington despite agreeing to the ceasefire, stressing that Iran accepted the arrangement at the request of regional countries.
Iran has warned that it will take "necessary and decisive" action if the ceasefire agreement reached with the United States is violated, amid lingering tensions following recent military exchanges between the two countries.

The ISNA news agency quoted al-Reza as saying Iran would give a "necessary and decisive" response if commitments under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United States are breached.
