Mahmood Yakubu, Nigeria’s ambassador to the State of Qatar, has presented his Letter of Credence to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, at the Amiri Diwan, in Doha.

The ceremony was conducted with full honours, including the inspection of a Guard of Honour.

His Highness had a private audience with the Ambassador during which he warmly welcomed him and reaffirmed the longstanding and cordial relations between Nigeria and Qatar. The Amir recalled past high-level visits between both countries and reiterated Qatar’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
