There’s a lot of anime getting revealed at Anime Expo 2026 this weekend, including season two of Delicious in Dungeon. During its panel, Studio Trigger teased out what’s next for the returning fantasy cooking series based on Ryoko Kui’s manga. No footage was shown, but director Yoshihiro Miyajima showed off new art of Falin (redesigned to look more as she does in the manga), and said viewers would learn more about fan-favorite characters Izutsumi and Mithrun this time around. Last season ended with Laios, Marcille, Chilchuck, Senshi, and Izutsumi preparing to venture deeper into the dungeon to find the winged lion. At the same time, Kabru, Shuro, and Namari were preparing to go back in after their friends. That trio’s joined by the Canaries, a group of elves from the west assigned to control dungeons that’ve escalated too much, which’ll definitely cause problems when both groups link up. The first season of Delicious in Dungeon ran all the way to the “Sixth Floor” arc, so when the show returns, it’ll start at the “First Floor Interlude.” Since the show isn’t coming back to Netflix until October 2027, that’s plenty of time to read the manga and see what’s in store—or, if you want to stay pure, just rewatch season one until a trailer comes along.
