The Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, has described the ongoing reconstruction of internal roads by the Kaduna State Government as the biggest infrastructure intervention the institution has received in over 40 years.
Ahmed said the project had exceeded the university’s expectations and was the first of its kind in more than four decades.
Speaking during an inspection of the project on Saturday, the vice-chancellor commended Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani for extending the intervention to the federal university without any formal request.
“We have waited for 40 years for this. The quality of the work has exceeded our expectations,” he said.
