Russian forces attacked a DTEK mine management facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region on July 3. One employee was killed and five others were injured.

According to Ukrinform, DTEK Group reported this on Telegram.

"Tragic news. Yesterday one of our enterprises in the Dnipropetrovsk region was attacked. A security guard was killed. Our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones...", the statement said.

It was also noted that five injured employees are receiving all necessary assistance.

DTEK said the strike caused significant destruction. Due to a power outage at the time of the attack, 86 workers were underground in the mine. All of them were evacuated to the surface. The enterprise's operations have now been halted.
