President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated the United States on Independence Day and emphasized that Ukraine greatly values U.S. support, especially during Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, Zelensky stated this on Facebook.
"Today marks the 250th anniversary of one of humanity's brightest, strongest, and most influential dreams – the American Dream of an independent, free, and prosperous nation that defends people's freedom, faith, and the pursuit of happiness," Zelensky noted.
According to him, this dream has gone through many trials and not only endured, but for two and a half centuries has served as an example for other nations and helped all humanity to endure and become freer. This was especially important in the 20th century, when America helped save the world from tyrants and formed alliances and partnerships that, for the first time, gave a significant part of humanity lasting peace and the opportunity for free development.
