But Peter – who was married to Katie from 2005-2009 after meeting on I'm A Celebrity – doesn't.And it's clear the topic of their break up is still a tough subject for the 48-year-old. "Some of the places they took me back to meant I had to put myself back into those situations," she told the Mail."I found a lot of that difficult. My brain would go fuzzy because I didn't want to think about how I felt then." Award-winning director Paddy Wivell is behind the show and watched first-hand the "energy drain out of her", saying she simply could not go on.He explained: "It exhausted her because she's living with the traumatic effects of the abrupt end of a relationship. My sense was that she's learned to bury the pain in order to survive it. She told me she'd barely spent five minutes in a room alone with Peter since their split, so to her the conversation hasn't ended."Katie and Peter, 53, share two children together – Junior Andre, 21, and Princess Andre, 19. For years, the exact reasons behind their divorce was not clear. But Katie recently spoke more openly about the breakdown, suggesting it came from a misunderstanding that escalated.Speaking on Paul C. Brunson's We Need To Talk podcast, she claimed the central issue was that Peter incorrectly believed she was having an affair with her dressage rider. She vehemently denied the accusation, stating: "I've never slept with him. I just kept my horse there and I was happy keeping my horse there and he was married."On his part, Peter hinted that "something big happened" to end their relationship. During a previous interview with Piers Morgan, he stated: "Something big happened, which I won't reveal as I don't want my kids reading it. Katie knows 100% the reason why I left her, and I am 100% sure that what happened definitely did happen."The documentary comes as Katie continues to deal with the fallout of her husband Lee Andrews' arrest and prison time in Dubai.Article continues belowThe pair reunited last month and, despite the reality star admitting their marriage is "f***ed up" on Instagram, she insists he is her "perfect match".Katie Price: Nothing to Hide airs at 9pm on Wednesday (July 8) on Sky Documentaries.Choose Daily Mirror as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.Katie PriceAlex ReidPeter AndreDocumentariesI'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of HereDivorce
