The National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education (NCAOOSCE), an Abuja-based federal agency established to address the educational needs of Almajiri and out-of-school children across northern part of Nigeria, has earmarked N1.4 billion in the 2026 proposed federal budget for road projects in Ogun State.
The allocation is contained in the 2026 Federal Government of Nigeria Appropriation Bill under code 0517033001, a copy of which was obtained by SaharaReporters.
According to the budget document, the commission is expected to spend N1,400,000,000 on a project described as "Rehabilitation & Construction of Obasanjo-Itele Road & Idogo Township Road" in Ogun State.
