Crunchyroll’s big Anime Expo 2026 panel didn’t disappoint, with new looks at plenty of anime, including The Rising of the Shield Hero season five. The company also announced a new Solo Leveling film, the web novel adaptation Here U Are, the highly anticipated The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn’t a Guy at All, and more. Here U Are Release Date: TBD Description: “Yang Yu is a university upperclassman who’s loved by everyone, and Huan Li is a quiet, antisocial new student. The two of them get off on the wrong foot, but despite clashing and repelling one another at times, they are still drawn to each other.” Fate Rewinder Release Date: Spring 2027 Description: “The original work depicts heroes who use the time machine “Retry Eye” implanted in their right eye to rewind time over and over again until they find a way to save people who have died tragically, and will never give up.”
The Rising of the Shield Hero Season Five Release Date: 2027 Description: “Iwatani Naofumi, a run-of-the-mill otaku, finds a book in the library that summons him to another world. He is tasked with joining the sword, spear, and bow as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes and fighting the Waves of Catastrophe as the Shield Hero.”
