DAMASCUS: Syrian Health Minister Musab Al-Ali visited victims of Thursday’s terrorist bombing in Damascus who are receiving treatment at Damascus Hospital, reaffirming the government’s commitment to providing comprehensive medical care.
During the visit on Friday, Al-Ali toured hospital wards, met with several of the injured, and received briefings from medical staff on their conditions and treatment plans.
He directed hospital staff to provide all necessary medical resources to ensure the highest standard of care and commended medical and emergency teams for their rapid response following the attack.
The bombing, which targeted a cafe near the Palace of Justice in Damascus on Thursday, killed 10 people and injured 21 others, prompting widespread Arab and international condemnation.
Saudi Arabia on Friday condemned the attack. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Kingdom stands in solidarity with Syria against all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism.
