JENIN: Funding for 106 development projects in the Jenin governorate valued at more than $32 million has been secured, the Palestinian government said on Friday.
The government is also preparing to rehabilitate partially damaged homes and continue strategic investments in water, electricity and infrastructure.
The announcement came during a field visit by a ministerial delegation to the governorate, carried out under the directives of Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa.

The government said the projects include the completion of 106 infrastructure initiatives supported by international donors, preparations to rehabilitate homes that sustained minor to moderate damage in Jenin city and surrounding areas through German funding administered by the UN, the upcoming tender for the rehabilitation of the Zabda–Dhahr Al-Abed road, completion of the design for the 11-km Beit Qad–Faqqu’a road and continued planning for the 4.5-km Nazareth Road.
