A 32-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his house in Suryanagar on the southern outskirts of Bengaluru on Thursday.The deceased has been identified as Vijaya Raj, a security guard at a project site in Suryanagar. The police have sent the body for post-mortem.An investigator in the case told The Hindu that the victim had marks on his body that appeared to indicate physical assault, and they are awaiting the postmortem report.A preliminary probe revealed that Raj had reported to work after consuming alcohol, following which his employer sent him away.The police suspect that something might have occurred after he left the site.
