Gajuwaka MLA and Andhra Pradesh State TDP president Palla Srinivasa Rao on Friday visited the residence of an elderly couple at Akkireddypalem, who recently lost both their sons in a road accident and assured them of all possible assistance from the government.Earlier on Wednesday, a sibling duo, P. Satish, 29, and P. Girish, 27, were killed in a road accident after an RTC bus allegedly rammed into their two-wheeler at Vadlapudi Bridge.The incident has left the elderly parents, who are ailing from illnesses, devastated. Learning about their ordeal, Mr. Rao paid a visit to their residence and consoled the grieving parents. The legislator assured that he would take steps to facilitate the allotment of a house for them under a government housing scheme and promised to provide financial assistance for the family.In addition, the TDP leader also said that he would coordinate with the authorities concerned and the organisations where the deceased persons had worked to ensure that all pending dues, service benefits and other eligible financial transactions were released to the bereaved family without delay.
