July promises cosmic clarity as Mercury exits retrograde and the Sun dances into Leo

Mercury is finally crawling out of retrograde this month (it has been backwards in Cancer since June 29 and only goes direct on July 23), so the first three weeks of July might feel like wading through treacle, crossed wires, slow replies, that “did I already say this” feeling.

Then on July 22, the Sun struts out of Cancer and into Leo, so just as Mercury sorts itself out we get a proper shift from soft, soggy, feelings-led energy into bold, look-at-me fire.

Venus also moves into tidy, sensible Virgo on July 9th, so love and money conversations get more practical and less starry-eyed. Basically: patience for the first half, fireworks for the second. Here’s what it means for you.
