Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will marry his partner, Gauri Spratt, in an intimate ceremony at his home in Mumbai on Sunday.Khan announced the wedding while speaking to reporters on Thursday, saying in Hindi: “Yes, I’m getting married on 5 July. It’s going to be a very intimate wedding, and we’re having it at home. 5 July is a very special day for us,” according to ANI.One of Hindi cinema’s most influential stars and internationally known for films including Lagaan, Laal Singh Chaddha, and Dangal, Khan was at a screening of Pritam and Pedro, his forthcoming series directed by filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani.He added: “Please give us your blessings and pray that we stay happy and have a wonderful journey together. The couple’s children from previous marriages are expected to play a significant role in the ceremony.That includes Khan’s two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan from his first marriage to Reena Dutta, and his son Azad Rao Khan from his second marriage to filmmaker Kiran Rao. Spratt’s son from a previous marriage will also be involved in the ceremony. They announced their separation in 2021 but have continued to co-parent their son.Khan publicly confirmed his relationship with Spratt in March 2025 during celebrations around his 60th birthday, introducing her to the media for the first time. He joked that “Bhuvan has finally found his Gauri”, a reference to his character in Lagaan and the film’s female lead, who shares Spratt’s first name.Spratt, originally from Bengaluru in southern India, has largely remained outside the public eye. She studied styling and photography at the University of the Arts London and currently runs a salon in Mumbai.In an interview with Navbharat Times in April, Khan said of Spratt: “I feel very fortunate that I met Gauri, she brings me peace.” He added in Hindi: “Mujhe lagta hai ki main ab jaake mukammal hua hoon (I feel like I have finally become complete).”
