Jenny, 44, took to Instagram with her health update and shared photos of her throat and her time in hospital.She shared one close-up of the scar across the front of her throat and a selfie from when she was still in hospital. Alongside the post, she wrote: "You might notice my new scar. You’d be hard pushed to not spot it, given it’s right on the front of my neck."Jenny explained that her thyroid gland had "made a bid for fame" by growing so big that it had "started causing some problems". As such, they cut it out."I'm fine," she continued. "Surgery was all good and the consultant was very happy. My voice still works and it's healing nicely. Thanks to the head and neck gang and all the terrific people who looked after me at UCH [University College Hospital]. The NHS is beyond wonderful."Fans jumped in the comments to provide support for the TV star. "So glad you're ok and happy to hear your voice is fine. All the best," one wrote. Another said: "Scar will fade Jenny. I had my thyroid removed when I was in my 30s and you can hardly see it now."This comes just after Jenny appeared in a trailer for the new spin off The Chase Across The World. The series will follow six pairs who are tasked with locating all six of the Chasers who are hiding across the world. Using their general knowledge, observation skills and intellect, the contestants need to solve the clues to track down the chasers.As they encounter landmarks and culturally significant sites during their hunt, the pairs will solve puzzles and riddles. However, the final pair to arrive must face off against the Chasers to remain in the competition and make it through to the next destination.Their final destination will see the remaining contestants compete for a life-altering prize as they face off against whoever is left and the Chasers.In the trailer, Jenny and fellow chaser Mark Labbett stood in front of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. The video was posted online, with the caption: "BOOKING CONFIRMED. Trip: Some seriously epic locations. Travellers: Six Chasers & six pairs of contestants. Mission: Stay one step ahead."Speaking about the new show, Bradley Walsh said: "This bold new take on The Chase combines quizzing with travelling and will test contestants' knowledge like never before."Article continues belowJenny has been on the Chase since 2015.
