People were gobsmacked at who got up to perform during a recent event, with whispering and rumours taking place, many simply couldn't contain their excitement...10:46, 03 Jul 2026People were left gobsmacked at a recent event in central London after realising the person who got up to sing a song was actually a major celebrity.‌Yinrun Huang, who appeared on the 2023 reboot of Big Brother UK, was lucky enough to attend an event with her husband, Luke, to celebrate the launch of Disney's live-action remake of 2016's Moana, which is set to hit cinemas on July 10. But the crowd was floored when a famous voice, and now face, from the movie's franchise appeared to sing a much-loved tune to them, and Yinrun couldn't contain her excitement.‌"Maui sings to us LIVE! in London!" Yinrun gushed, and of course, Maui is played by none other than 54-year-old Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in both versions of the movie.‌Content cannot be displayed without consentYinrun gushed he has "such a great singing voice," and praised the British Theatre Academy dancers in the background, too, who were likely having the time of their lives.She said this moment was a "core memory" for her at London's Potters Field, and people were so jealous she got to see him sing this iconic song up close and personal.‌Someone wrote: "Just when you think you couldn’t possibly love him anymore than you already do.""Really great to see, thanks for sharing this, he's such a legend!!" another gushed.In another clip from the event, Yinrun explained that before she saw The Rock perform, there were "rumours" circling around he would be there and ready to sing for the crowd.‌They watched some traditional Hula and Ori dances, and said "everyone was hyped up by their passionate moves" because they're "just full of energy".They were lucky enough to then see the real Moana, 19-year-old Catherine Laga'aia, and Yinrun said she "couldn't believe" she was standing in front of them.Then they could "sense the tension in the air" because there were "people whispering and security guards everywhere". And moments later, that's when The Rock himself came out.‌"He walks on the main stage right next to the giant magical fish hook, then he actually picks up Maui's Fish Hook in the movie, and everyone was screaming at this point," Yinrun claimed it was "so magical".And a highlight of it was that The Rock actually waved at them before his performance of Your Welcome.At the event, she also got a fistbump from him, which she played in slow motion on the video.Article continues below"This is so cool," someone gushed, while another said they were "so excited" for her, and it was "such an incredible experience".
