Insider Brief
PostScriptum is investing in Finnish quantum hardware company SemiQon to help commercialize its cryo-optimized electronics for scaling quantum computers.
SemiQon’s silicon-based Cryo-CMOS chips are designed to operate near absolute zero and reduce the wiring needed between quantum processors and room-temperature electronics.
The company says its components are already deployed in working quantum systems and can support multiple quantum computing approaches, as well as applications in space technology and high-performance computing.
PRESS RELEASE — With the investment, PostScriptum will become a shareholder in SemiQon, a Finnish quantum hardware company building one of Europe’s most ambitious platforms for next-generation quantum technology. The investment will help accelerate the commercialization of SemiQon’s breakthrough technology and support the company’s path toward becoming a leading European quantum hardware company.
