Lithuanian home improvement retail group Kesko Senukai said it sold its indirectly held 50% stake in Belarusian retailer OMA last year and no longer conducts any business in Belarus.

The company said it decided to end all operations in the country after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

“When Russia’s aggression against Ukraine began in 2022, we terminated all business ties, supply chains and cooperation in Belarus. This was a deliberate decision based on our values,” the group’s communications director Liubovė Zaiceva said in a statement.

She said the sale of the OMA stake was completed last year after a share purchase agreement was signed but declined to disclose the buyer or the transaction value, saying the company would provide that information later.

The comments came after the group’s 2025 annual report showed revenue in Belarus rose 2.1% to 140.2 million euros. The report also said OMA had a credit facility and had pledged inventory and other assets worth 17.85 million euros to banks at the end of the year.
