The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the CA Foundation Examination held in May 2026, along with the national merit list. Sakshi Jain from Nashik secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1, while Ayanabbas Ajani from Chandrapur and Radha Unmesh Mulay from Pune bagged the second and third ranks, respectively. The top three positions were claimed by candidates from Maharashtra, with each scoring more than 91%. Ayanabbas Ajani secured the second rank with 367 marks (91.75%), while Radha Unmesh Mulay finished third with 365 marks (91.25%). The top three candidates were separated by just six marks, reflecting a closely contested merit list. Pass percentage According to ICAI, 1,06,144 candidates were admitted for the examination, of whom 90,217 appeared. A total of 18,124 candidates cleared the exam, taking the overall pass percentage to 20.09%. The examination was conducted across 609 centres in India and abroad. Along with the results, ICAI has also published the merit list, which includes the names, cities, roll numbers, marks and percentages of the top three rank holders.
