Fresh concerns have emerged over the execution of a flood control project in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja after findings indicated that despite the disbursement of more than ₦31million for the intervention, the project has allegedly not been carried out.

According to information released by civic accountability platform, Tracka, a total of ₦31.8million was paid in September 2025 to M/S Zagald Ventures Ltd for the execution of a flood control project around the Mosque Area in Aco-AMAC Estate Phase 3, Sabon Lugbe, Abuja.

The civic technology organisation said it tracked the project and found that the work had not commenced despite the payment recorded on the Federal Government's public expenditure portal.

"We tracked and report that this project remains undone," the organisation said.
