ByMIRIAM SELA-EITAMJULY 3, 2026 07:28Updated: JULY 3, 2026 07:29An IDF reservist was severely wounded on Thursday during an altercation with a Hezbollah terrorist in Bint Jbail in southern Lebanon, the military announced on Friday morning.The soldier has been evacuated to the hospital to receive medical treatment, and their family has been notified, the IDF added.Following the incident, the IDF fired on the area to isolate it and remove the threat of any remaining terrorists.Two other soldiers were lightly wounded in the incident but did not need to be evacuated to the hospital for treatment, according to Army Radio.Searches for the terrorist are reportedly underway.Bint Jbail is located within Israel's security zone in Lebanon, approximately 4.5km. from Moshav Avivim in the Upper Galilee.This is a developing story.Follow us on Google
