The extent of Lagrange’s injury was not immediately known, but the move was a setback for someone who was expected to be in the Yankees’ major league bullpen soon. Lagrange last pitched for the RailRiders on June 28, allowing four hits, two walks and five earned runs in 2/3 innings.Lagrange started to make the transition from starting pitcher to reliever in early June, as the Yankees anticipated him making an impact in their bullpen before the trade deadline.
