President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that talks took place over the past two days between National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov and Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump.

The Guardian stated this in an article, according to Ukrinform.

It is noted that the Ukrainian leader made the statement at the site of a house destroyed in a Russian attack in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, where rescuers continued clearing the rubble after a massive Russian strike on the capital.

"There was a conversation yesterday between Umerov and Kushner, and the day before there was a conversation between them, and so on," the President said, without specifying what exactly they discussed.
