The first week of Love Island USA’s eighth season shot to the top of the Nielsen streaming charts, recording its biggest premiere numbers to date.

The unscripted series, which streams new episodes six days a week, had 1.31 billion minutes of viewing time for the week of June 1-7, finishing first overall for the week. Love Island was also way up over its 2025 premiere week (772 million minutes), rising by 69 percent year to year. Nielsen also says a majority of viewing — 59 percent — came from adults 18-34.

The final figures from Nielsen track with an earlier figure from Peacock of 824 million viewing minutes over the first three days of Love Island USA. That number includes mobile viewing, while Nielsen’s streaming ratings measure TV screens only.

Dutton Ranch continued its steady growth for Paramount+, drawing 840 million minutes of watch time in its fourth week on the charts. The Yellowstone spinoff has improved each week since its May 15 premiere. Netflix’s The Four Seasons (799 million minutes) improved a little from its season two premiere the previous week, as did Apple TV’s Your Friends & Neighbors (403 million), whose second season wrapped June 5.
