The Power Ministry has pledged a thorough investigation into complaints of inflated electricity bills for June, warning of strict action if any misconduct by utility officials is proven.
The warning came during a review meeting of the Power Division with divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners (DCs), and officials from electricity distribution agencies and companies, the ministry said on Thursday.
