Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has assured the people of Ejigbo that his administration will fulfil all promises made to the community, including the completion of the ongoing Ejigbo-Iwo road project.
The governor, who gave the assurance while speaking during the inauguration of road projects in Ejigbo, said those who doubted his administration’s ability to perform had been proved wrong by the projects delivered across the state, expressing appreciation to the royal fathers for standing by his government.
He said, “They once predicted that we wouldn’t perform, but I surprised them. I deliver so well. I want to commend the royal fathers for your backings. I remember all my promises to the Ogiyan, and I will fulfil them by the grace of God.
“I want to assure you, my father, the Ogiyan, that you will commission the Ejigbo/Iwo road once completed. I love you all. I thank you all for your support.”
In his remarks, Oba Oyeyode Oyesosin, the Ogiyan of Ejigbo, appreciated the Adeleke administration for executing road projects that had long been a source of concern to Ejigbo and neighbouring communities.
