An ISRO ‘Space on Wheels’ mobile exhibition, brought from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-Sriharikota) by Vetry NGO, was inaugurated at the Iduvampalayam Government Higher Secondary School on Wednesday.The exhibition, arranged on a bus, featured scale models of India’s premier launch vehicles and missions, including the PSLV, GSLV, Mangalyaan, Chandrayaan and various satellites. The initiative aimed at fostering scientific temper and inspiring students and space enthusiasts.Over 3,500 students from the host institution, nearby government schools and the private AVP Group of Schools attended the event. An ISRO resource person explained the technical details of the exhibits to the visitors.The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Educational Officer (CEO-Tiruppur) A. Punitha, and Vetry - Vanathukul Tiruppur president T.R. Sivaram presided over the function. The exhibition was coordinated by Natarajan, CEO, Vetry - Vanathukul Tiruppur.Galileo Space Club representative Kannabiran and Udumalai Environmental Society president K.S. Mani were present.
