One woman admitted she recently woke up at 4am to join the queue in hope of bagging a spot to watch the tennis tournament; however, it didn't quite play out as she expected.‌The woman, known as Joyseph on TikTok, said she recently attended Wimbledon, but she didn't actually anticipate what the experience involved. In fact, she ended up missing some of the game due to an unlikely issue that she never expected to encounter.‌It's not the first time someone has drawn attention to such discoveries at Wimbledon either. Just days ago, someone else also admitted they were floored by the price of strawberries and cream at the event.‌She posted footage of herself attending the event, and wrote over the top: "The problem with waking up at 4am to get in the Wimbledon queue." You then see thousands of people waiting in the video, hoping to bag a spot to watch.Then it goes on to show what she looked like when she was watching the tennis, and it left people in stitches. Various clips were put together of her falling asleep throughout the day, and it tickled many.It seems waking up so early can come with severe consequences, as she was even seen dozing off while watching a tennis match. Joyseph did admit it was worth it though, even though she didn't quite prepare for how tired she'd be.‌Do you need to queue for Wimbledon tickets?If you already have Wimbledon tickets, you do not need to join "The Queue", which is exclusively for people buying tickets on the day. However, you will still need to queue briefly at the public gates for bag searches and initial entry into the grounds.Although, if you want to bag tickets on the day, there is a process you must follow. The Wimbledon website states: "Wimbledon remains one of the very few major sporting events where you can buy premium tickets on the day of play."A daily Queue offers limited Show Court and Grounds tickets, which are sold at one per person and are non-transferable.
