Good Morning Britain hosts Ranvir Singh and Adil Ray shared an update on Prince Harry08:17, 02 Jul 2026The hosts of Good Morning Britain shared some "highly sensitive" news during the latest episode.‌Ranvir Singh and Adil Ray were back in the ITV studio on Thursday (July 2) to deliver the latest headlines from across the UK and around the world.‌Talk soon turned to Prince Harry after a security report revealed that the Duke of Sussex is under threat from six terrorist plots, five of which originated in the UK. This comes just days before Harry and his wife Meghan Markle's planned family visit to the UK after four years.‌"It's a highly sensitive document written by the Sussex's private security firm, and it details these potential attacks that are facing the couple," Ranvir began.Adil added: "It's an extraordinary report. It argues that Harry's own protection officers are prevented from adequately responding to an armed attack in the UK."‌The confidential risk assessment was prepared for the prince in February, and was sent to the RAVEC Committee - it decides which high-profile politicians and members of the Royal Family get police protection paid by the Home Office.ITV's Royal Editor, Chris Ship, listed the reported threats in a pre-recorded clip, which included an al-Qaeda document that called for the assassination of Prince Harry.Chris added: "King Charles, who was in Scotland this week, has not seen his grandchildren since the summer of 2022, but Buckingham Palace says that all issues of security are a matter for the Home Office and the King cannot get involved."‌Back in the studio, Ranvir said: "Prince Harry has been under threat from six terrorist plots."Adil shared: "The Sussexes are due to arrive in the UK to mark the countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games, but reports now claim Meghan and the children may stay in California after Harry's request for police protection during their trip was denied."‌Speaking to Chris, who had appeared live in the studio, Adil then said: "This is extraordinary. You've seen this report. How alarmed were you? You've been following the royals, you'll know a little bit about the sort of security that they would expect. How alarmed were you about these threats?"Chris replied: "Do you know what, I've heard Harry talk about the threats before, but actually, to see them in detail in the way that we now have is actually quite something."He continued: "Harry was promised a review of his security and one hasn't happened. Now, he says, 'Why hasn't one happened? Look at this report.
